Provide strategic legal advice on commercialization and regulatory issues in Canada.
Manage legal investigations related to competition regulatory and anticorruption laws.
Draft review and negotiate a wide range of commercial and R&D agreements.
Advise on privacy compliance employment and corporate governance matters.
Collaborate with the home office Law Department on crossfunctional legal issues.
Contribute to the Canadian Leadership Team and provide legal advice for US as needed.
You have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industrys regulations and practices.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working on crossfunctional teams.
You are adept at managing complex legal matters and have a keen eye for detail.
You can communicate effectively in both French and English.
Candidates must hold a Canadian law degree from a leading university and have significant legal experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. Applicants will require 810 years of 810 years of legal experience in the biotech/pharma sector in Canada. A license to practice law in the US or another jurisdiction is a plus along with experience in a top law firm. Familiarity with local or North American regulators and experience working in the US are beneficial.
