The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Data Scientist to join the team in Tukwila WA; Hazelwood MO or Mesa AZ.
The Data Science and Analytics (DS&A) team within the Finance Data Analytics & Business Intelligence (FinDABI) organization is looking for someone who can help us build the next generation of Financial Analytics solutions for both Government and Commercial business partners. The analyst will assist the team in integrating operational and financial data to build predictive and prescriptive analytics.
The ideal candidate will:
Have a strong technical background in data analysis statistical modeling and/or advanced data visualization
Have strong domain expertise in Estimate at Complete (EAC) processes and Earned Value Management (EVM)
Be able to effectively communicate complex technical information to nontechnical stakeholders
Understand the importance of collaborative coding team coordination and working together principles
Position Responsibilities:
Queries data and performs exploratory and multivariate analysis
Identifies analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex datasets
Develops and maintains relationships with customers stakeholders peers and partners across functions
Supports enterprisewide projects to provide insight and drive efficiency in Finance
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future.
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
1 years of experience in applied mathematics statistics or related field
Experience in programming in data analysis languages (R and/or Python)
Experience developing cost estimating relationships using statistical regression analysis
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher in data science computer science statistics and/or analytics related technical concentration
Experience with advanced data visualization skills in R Shiny React or
Experience connecting to relational databases in SQL Server Teradata Oracle and/or Cloud
Experience with code documentation and organization practices using VS Code Gitlab Repositories and Markdown
Experience using strong problemsolving skills to tackle evolving business challenges using datadriven approaches
