As a Patient Care Coordinator atNorth Edge Dental in Edmonton AB you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and seamless patient experience. You will be responsible for coordinating patient appointments addressing inquiries and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Schedule patient appointments including followups and referrals.
  • Answer phone calls emails and inquiries from patients regarding appointments billing and general information.
  • Collect and process patient information including medical history and demographics.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Handle patient checkin and checkout procedures.
  • Ensure waiting areas and reception areas are clean and organized.
  • Assist in managing patient flow and minimizing wait times.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare or dental team to address patient needs and concerns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve patient issues or concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent or healthcarerelated training preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or patient coordination role is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using office software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Empathetic and patientcentred approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment..
