Collins Engineers Inc. a leader in the transportation marine construction and land development industries is looking for a motivated selfstarter to join our Texas team as an Engineer. This role will provide the opportunity to work on structural projects including ancillary structural inspection and above and below water inspections. This position is a mix of office and fieldwork with regional travel expected.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performdesign and inspection/field work that does not require previous experience.
- Assistin the completion of inspection and assessment reports.
- Preparedesign computations and quantity estimates.
- KeepProject Managers informed of workload and any changes to project scope or additional services.
- Usecomputer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare calculation packages and design drawings.
- Is active in technical societies.
- Is able to attend meetings or events outside of normal working hours.
- Has limited communication with clients.
- Instructdraftspersons / technicians on design drawings data entry and report preparation.
- Actively observeand actin an appropriate manner related to safety.
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited fouryear university plus appropriate continuing education
- 04 years of experience.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:
- EngineerInTraining (E.I.T. or ability to obtain within one year.
- A valid drivers license
