Are you ready to get in on the ground floor of Amazons longterm initiative to design launch and maintain a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide lowlatency highspeed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world
Project Kuiper has multiple SFA roles open and hiring managers may determine after interviews which role is the best fit.
Its Day 1 for Amazons next billion dollar business and we are looking for an entrepreneurial minded Senior Financial Analyst to work in a startup environment who is passionate about technology manufacturing and FP&A who thinks/acts globally and has the ability to create and implement solutions processes and controls.
Project Kuiper seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support Multimodal Logistics and Warehousing. You will have the responsibility for consolidating financial information forecasting reporting and analysis and will partner with the team that is designing the global logistic network to deliver terrestrial and orbital infrastructure. Success in this role will partner with and influence business owners. The successful candidate will need to be strategic analytical and have the demonstrated ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams in a start up like environment.
Key job responsibilities
Create effective business partnerships manages competing priorities and provides investment guidance based on data analysis during unexpected events.
Present financial summaries and business insights to Senior Management (Business and Finance).
Develop and implement long range business planning.
Develop financial models for new business concepts and resulting financial impact to help drive data driven decision making.
Build out and enhance P&L models for new and existing businesses develop business insights and KPI dashboards and lead ad hoc analyses.
Work with big data and transforming it into insights and information.
Lead automation efforts of critical processes.
Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Improves scales or simplifies finance tools across teams and organizations.
Participate in Finance initiatives including but not limited to process improvements ad hoc analyses and preparation of periodic reporting activities.
Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience in financial modeling P&L management or analysis
3 years of experience delivering cross functional projects.
3 years of experience working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams.
Relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results.
Strong command of Financial and Accounting fundamentals.
Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written communication logical reasoning and the presentation of options and their implications including insights into interactions with other areas of the business.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
