Job Description
This role will be onsite at Metro Valves Piscataway NJ office.
Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact in the company representing the company well by providing great and friendly service to customers vendors and visitors directing them to the appropriate person or department.
Answer phone calls and emails ensuring responses to inquiries are made promptly and professionally.
Provide updates on orders.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to ensure a positive first impression for visitors.
Operate standard office equipment such as computers on a regular basis.
Skills Education & Abilities
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of customer service experience
Professional and courteous demeanor to create a welcoming environment
Detailoriented with an ability to multitask
A motivated selfstarter problem solver and team player
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
A great communicator who will represent the company to vendors and customers and communicate well with internal staff
Reliable flexible organized and good time management skills
Ability to think and act independently
Proficient with using basic computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice to haves: industry experience proficiency with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint and familiarity with CRM systems
