Job Description

Job Overview

The Entities and Compliance Specialist is responsible for managing compliance and regulatory matters related to Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and other retirement plans. This position involves monitoring interpreting and applying regulatory requirements ensuring that all IRArelated activities adhere to internal and external standards.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee IRA accounts to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations including IRA rules and guidelines.

  • File LLC(s) with the Secretary of State(s) obtain EIN numbers and draft operating agreements.

  • Assist in setting up bank accounts associated with a clients LLC or Solo 401(k) plan.

  • Provide guidance and support regarding IRA account setup management compliance assistance regarding prohibited transactions required IRS forms and other requests made by the client.

  • Address and resolve client inquiries and concerns related to IRA accounts and regulatory compliance.

  • Stay informed about industry trends changes in regulations and best practices.

  • Maintain organized records for audit purposes and regulatory reviews.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless experience for clients and support overall business objectives.

  • Other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in financial services particularly in IRA administration IRA compliance and other relevant compliance standards.

  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Previous experience with financial software databases and Microsoft Office Suite products.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
