The opportunity

As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer you will work on cuttingedge projects involving Substation FACTS and STATCOM technologies. You will play a crucial role in advancing sustainable energy solutions ensuring more power reaches customers with minimal environmental impact. How youll make an impact
Design and execute projects in line with customer specifications and global standards.
Create work plans and cost estimates ensuring quality deliverables.
Lead the development of innovative solutions for complex projects.
Prepare manufacturing documents and design drawings for FACTS plants.
Coordinate electrical engineering across multiple projects.
Conduct risk and opportunity assessments implementing resulting actions.
Provide technical support for testing installation and commissioning.
Interact directly with customers officials contractors and supply chain.
Your background
BS/./Ph.D in Electrical Engineering and 5 or more years of relevant experience.
Experience with FACTS or HV transmission substation solutions required.
Knowledge of National Electric Code and ANSI/IEEE requirements.
Control and Protection panel design experience preferred.
Relay configuration knowledge is a plus.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Candidates may be required to travel from 1 to 4 months to Sweden for specialized training.
