High School Academic Support Teacher
Westchester Country Day School a PreK12 college preparatory school located in High Point NC seeks an High School Academic Support Teacher starting in theschool year. Candidates must possess a Special Education degree and have experience interpreting educationalpsychological evaluations teaching students with learning differences providing oneonone and group academic support to 9th12th grade students and using formal and informal data collection techniques to support instructional practices. Responsibilities include: partnering with teachers to serve as the student advocate by closely monitoring each students progress collaborating with students and families as requested/referred to assess learning difficulties and review and summarize psychoeducational evaluations and remain current with professional development and research in areas relevant to learning differences differentiation and intervention.
