Job description
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Support this role youll work closely with our experienced sales team to ensure the smooth handling of customer accounts quotes and orders playing a vital role in delivering exceptional service and supporting the overall sales process. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced customer-focused environment with plenty of scope to grow.
The role is based in our Dalbeattie office our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Salary for the role is 26208
Main responsibilities of the role include:
Provide administrative support to the sales team ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Assist with the creation of sales quotes and orders including issuing proformas creating job/build sheets and arranging payments.
Enter and maintain accurate data in the CRM/ERP system including quote details follow-up tasks and order updates.
Liaise with customers to follow up on quotes gather feedback and support order progression.
Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering Purchasing Finance) to ensure timely order fulfilment and stock management.
Obtain shipping quotes and provide tracking information to customers as required.
Handle inbound sales-related phone calls and make outbound calls to support active opportunities.
Generate sales reports and documentation to assist the sales manager in tracking performance and pipeline activity.
Your skills & qualities:
Driven personality with a desire to learn and progress.
Comfortable making and receiving calls in a busy open-plan office environment.
Good computer skills particularly in MS Excel.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid customer service approach and professional telephone manner.
Able to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
Strong planning and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documents.
