The School

Hillbrook is a coeducational school of 900 students from Years 712 established in 1987. The Schools motto In Balance We Grow underpins life at Hillbrook which prides itself a focus on quality teaching and learning and a specialisation in the nurturing of adolescents.

The School Leadership Team (SLT) comprises the Principal Deputy Principal Dean of Student Wellbeing Dean of Teaching & Learning and the Business Manager.

The Position

The Maintenance Officer works within the Grounds and Maintenance team to service and promote the upkeep of School buildings and grounds including general maintenance. It involves a wide range of handyman/trade maintenance activities liaising with contract trades and a high degree of physical work. This position will undertake general repairs and maintenance including minor works such as patching and painting carpentry and preventative maintenance.

An understanding of safe work practices the ability to problemsolve and work collaboratively and a current drivers licence are essential.

The position is permanent fulltime. Usual hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm with a half hour lunch break.
