Job Description

The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for a Travel Coordinator. Nuna is the largest Inuitowned heavy civil construction earthworks and mine construction contractor in Canada.

Reporting to the Travel Supervisor the Travel Coordinator will be responsible for the efficient day to day coordination of commercial and charter travel requests within a budgeted value for all Nuna employees.

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all travel requirements for employees including air accommodation shuttles and other related travel requirements;
  • Communicate travel details to employees and necessary stakeholders (Project Managers site administrators ect).
  • Conduct weekly reconciliations of all travel transactions and provide reconciliations to the Accounts Payable department including NUNA accounting codes.
  • Provides accurate and timely reports/information.
  • Required to work an Oncall after hours rotation;
  • Other general office related duties as directed.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum two 2 years experience in an office administration role.
  • Experience in a related field is an asset.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED is required.
  • Education from a recognized postsecondary facility is an asset.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Excellent computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems is an asset.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Thorough attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritze effectively.
  • Problemsolving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations.
  • Proficient customer service skills and mindset.
