Job Title/HighLevel Position Summary: Test Engineer is responsible for designing developing and testing mechanical systems and components. The engineer is responsible for producing and implementing designs and test procedures analyzing and troubleshooting mechanical systems and components and developing and testing prototypes. The engineer will participate in daily technical meetings to review project progression performance of team members and recourse management. This position will serve as great transition from education to junior level for a young professional to further engineering skills in an array of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute product and materials tests to characterize and measure product performance and capability limits.
- Operate variety of test and measurement equipment record and summarize collected data.
- Applying engineering fundamentals to practical problemsolving involving design manufacturing and validation of test methods custom test fixtures and test set ups.
- Support design verification activities including writing test protocols assisting with inspection and verification of test articles to specifications overseeing test progress providing direct input in test activities and preparing test reports at completion.
- Technical writing in support of design inputs design outputs qualification activities quality and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with failure mechanism analysis.
- Is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and business standards.
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical)
- 1 years of related experience or recent masters degree in engineering
- Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated SolidWorks experience or other CAD software tools

Travel
- Should be flexible to travel 5 of time
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience with Solidworks or equivalent CAD tools is highly preferred.
