Information Governance Officer

Are you passionate about data protection and keen to help shape best practice in information governance Wythenshawe Community Housing Group is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Information Governance Officer to join our team on afixedterm contractending 31st March 2026.

Working closely with the IG Manager and Lead youll support data protection compliance across the organisation. Youll coordinate and respond to access to information requests deliver engaging training support policy improvements and play a key role in enhancing our approach to privacy risk and records management.

Were looking for someone with:

• A solid understanding of UK GDPR Data Protection Act 2018 and related legislation
• Experience managing subject access requests FOIs and data protection processes
• Confidence in communicating across teams and delivering training
• Great organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload
• A proactive problemsolving mindset and a commitment to best practice
