Housing Management Coordinator with Apprenticeship
West Yorkshire Huddersfield Batley
Permanent full Time 37.5 hpw) Monday to Friday
Pay 13.21 per hour 25838per annum) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan
plus upskilling via an apprenticeship from day one if you dont already hold a relevant qualification

This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team here in West Yorkshire. As our Housing and Property Guru youll focus on tenancy support for our customers ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service doing an apprenticeship alongside it.
Typical day as a Housing Management Coordinator
- Customer group Homeless
- Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of youll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
- Help our customers with housing benefit claims making sure that these are received on their rent account.
- Where there is a need youll also issue and sign warning letters and notices which may lead to attending court.
- Getting rooms ready for the next customers who needs our help and for maximum occupancy youll turn around vacant or void rooms / bed spaces / properties within set timescales.
- Ensuring we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met.

You bring
- Enthusiasm in housing and overseeing landlord and housing management duties
- Enthusiasm of reletting of rooms or units collecting rents and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
- The ability to work on your own initiative positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
- A can do positive attitude youre proactive and well organised and able to work on your initiative.
- Confident working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners

Applicants must hold at least GCSE grade DG or 41 (AC or 94 is preferred though!.
Job details
- Flexible working hours (or were open to agreeing a work pattern with you)
- Manage your own diary
- Based at our services in Huddersfield and Batley youll spend your time around the properties.
- Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups
- Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
