Job Description
- PE license preferred (open to an individual who is working towards this)
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution required
- This position will require approximately 20 travel as dictated by assignments.
- Experience with wood design preferred
- Critical thinker with a desire to become an integral part of our team

Location: This is a hybrid role that can be based at one of our offices located at the following: Federal Way WA; Seattle WA; Vancouver WA or Albany OR. Hybrid requires onsite work 3 days/week and allows for remote work 2 days/week.

Compensation:This role is eligible for our annual meritincrease program and we are targeting a salary range of $81300 to $122000 based on your level of skills qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program which offers a cash bonus targeting 7 of base pay based on your level of skills qualifications and experience. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement:Employees are able to enroll in our companys 401k plan which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5 of your base salary.
Paid Time Off or Vacation:We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition after being employed for six months eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year providing a total of 88 holiday hours.

Weyerhaeuser Engineering plays a critical role supporting the specification and application of Weyerhaeuser engineered wood products. Our engineering team is an innovative group that fosters diverse thinking and problem solving.
As an engineer with Weyerhaeuser you will be involved in the specification of Trus Joist and Weyerhaeuser products; engineering and software analysis of Trus Joist products; field support for builders and framers; training of sales and marketing associates within Weyerhaeuser and our customers.

The selected candidate will work under the direct supervision of a professional engineer(s).
Key Functions:
- Actively participate in a safetydriven workplace culture
- Work independently or under the supervision of engineers:
- Answer customer inquiries on Weyerhaeuser products and residential construction
- Advisor for Trus Joist product specification (dealers specifiers architects engineers etc.
- Resolve field issues
- Provide software analysis of Trus Joist and Weyerhaeuser premium products
- Test Weyerhaeuser software for accuracy and concurrence to standard engineering practice
- Provide technical support to specifiers (engineer of record architects dealers building officials etc.
- Conduct customer and internal associate training using a variety of platforms/media
