THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to deliver engaging and efficacious K14 learning solutions for schools and districts. The primary focus of this role is managing product capabilities that help scale Khan Academy for Districts and specifically address the needs of district administrators in administering the product effectively for their district classrooms.

With the recent launch of Khanmigo and Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a technology this role will help harness the power of AI to deliver the product capabilities where applicable.

The Product Manager will:

• Establish the vision and strategy for reporting and insights across all products for all user personas (district admins teachers learners parents).
• Product (including requirements elaboration communication alignment research roadmap ownership managing tradeoffs) that enables the Districts Platform team to have rapid iterations of buildmeasurelearn while ensuring stability of the enterprise product.
• Collaborating crossfunctionally on delivery to create the desired user experience specifically for:
• Providing useful understandable and accessible metrics that enable admins/teachers/parents/learners to assess learners/teachers activation activity achievement and growth.
• Providing actionable insights and recommendations in user experiences (e.g. recommendation for teachers parents learners etc).
• Work in collaboration with other PMs to ensure that the reporting and insights are consistent and promote the desired classroom and learner engagement.
• Ownership of outcomes related to reporting and insights impacting user experiences.
• Use both qualitative and quantitative feedback to develop key user insights and drive product improvements by being the voice of district admins.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Deep passion for what makes a great educational technology as well as a desire to help Khan Academy bring a free worldclass education to anyone anywhere
• 3 years experience in product management (especially K12 edtech)
• Proven history of managing and shipping successful software products with crossfunctional teams at scale including outside U.S. to rest of world
• Experience designing & building a platform with reporting and insights capabilities
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to clearly articulate a vision and strategy
• Experience working closely with engineers and designers on technical architectural problems
• Strong data metrics and analysis skills
• Proven crosscultural competency skills demonstrating selfawareness awareness of other and the ability to adopt inclusive perspectives attitudes and behaviors to drive inclusion and belonging throughout the organization
• Deep empathy for teachers and administrators around the world and a curiosity about what makes a great classroom experience
• You love learning and are excited about helping others learn to love learning. Youre motivated to learn new things experiment and share what you learn with the world

The target salary range for this position is $127423 $156058 USD / $172188 $210678 CAD. The pay range for this position is a general guideline only. The salary offered will depend on internal pay equity and the candidates relevant skills experience qualifications and job market data. Exceptional performers in this role who make an outsized contribution can make well in excess of this range. Additional incentives are provided as part of the complete total rewards package in addition to comprehensive medical and other benefits.
