Job Description
THE POSITION
Are you experienced in maintenance and enjoy handson work in an outdoor setting The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is seeking a skilled Maintenance Repairman 2 to join our dedicated team. In this vital role you will perform journeylevel tasks across multiple trades contributing to the maintenance repair and construction of buildings structures equipment and grounds. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position entails performing advanced skilled work across multiple trades for the maintenance repair and construction of facility buildings structures equipment and grounds. You will carry out proficient journeylevel tasks in areas such as building mechanical electrical plumbing welding and masonry playing a key role in maintaining and improving facility infrastructure. Under the direction of a supervisor you will also be responsible for obtaining price quotes from vendors calculating the costs of supplies and equipment estimating labor hours for task completion and preparing necessary documentation for supervisor review and approval. In addition you will take on a leadership role guiding semiskilled laborers laborers and other team members throughout project .

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment 37.5 hour work week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- You will be required to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- This position is assigned to the Conservation Leadership Training Center located at 85 Youth Forestry Lane White Haven PA.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:- Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building electrical or mechanical trades;or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges Skills and Abilities.
Special Requirements:- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Drivers License.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
