Job Description
- Bathing and dressing patients.
- Serving meals and helping patients eat.
- Taking vital signs.
- Turning and/or repositioning patients who are bedridden.
- Collecting information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers nurses and doctors.
- Lifting patients into beds wheelchairs exam tables etc.
- Examining patients for bruises blood in their urine and/or other injuries/wounds.
- Cleaning and sanitizing patient areas.
- Changing bed sheets and restocking patient rooms with the necessary supplies.
- Ability to provide verbal deescalation of agitated patients.
- Ability to perform Heimlich maneuver CPR and other emergency responses.
- Ability to lift 30 50 Lbs.
- Ability to do repetitive bending stooping and lifting and to be on your feet for the majority of the shift.
- Ability to work all shifts as assigned each week.
- MUST be local to the Chattanooga area.
- MUST have current BLS/CPR certification.
- MUST be able to provide proof of a negative TB Skin Test before hire or be willing to receive a TB Skin Test during new employee orientation if hired for position.
