POSITION SUMMARY:
In this position you will operate various manufacturing equipment such as rewinders coaters PIVs etc. in accordance with our site safety standards.
The job offers a fulltime 12hour shift schedule 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am) on a twoweek rotation which includes working every other weekend. This schedule allows for many more days off than a regular 8hour shift position!
Starting pay is $24.23 per hour with doubletime pay for any hours worked on Sundays. After successful completion of the probationary period there is eligibility to sign up to move to a different department with wages ranging from $27.86 to $31.53 per hour plus a shift differential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to working safely in a mill environment with a range in temperature of 5095 degrees F (not a climatecontrolled facility). In addition they will have a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate machinery. Duties will consist of a wide range of tasks such as:
Operate various manufacturing equipment i.e. rewinders coaters powered industrial vehicles etc.
Follow standard operating procedures and instructions.
Perform physical work that may include but is not limited to standing lifting walking climbing stairs bending kneeling pushing and pulling throughout the entire shift. Items lifted may be up to 50 lbs.
Work safely and comply with all safety regulations such as the use of personal protective equipment such as safety shoes safety glasses and hearing protection is required.
Maintain a clean work environment and organized workspace.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalency.
A minimum of 1 year of manufacturing/machine operator experience.
Experience operating a powered industrial vehicle/forklift preferred.
Prior experience working a swing shift that will rotate biweekly consisting of 12hour shifts preferred.
Ability to work in any department as assigned.

WORK SCHEDULE: Twelvehour swing shiftthat includes working every other weekend 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am on a 2week rotation). Overtime and working various shifts may be a requirement depending on your position.
Shift rotation allows you to work an average of half the year and be home half the year!
COMPENSATION: This is an hourly position with a starting wage of $24.23 per hour. After successful completion of the probationary period there is eligibility to sign up to move to a different department with wages ranging from $27.86 to $31.53 hour plus a shift differential.
Double time is awarded for any hours worked during each Sunday with wages ranging from $48.46 to $57.78 per hour.
