Job Description
Job Summary:
The Clinical Director is responsible for the daytoday clinical operation and oversight of the Center. The management spectrum covers planning organizing delegating coordinating staff utilization resource allocation cost controls and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages preferred.
- Demonstrated communication skills which indicate ability to be successful at counseling teaching and assessing.
- Ability to read analyze and interpret common professional journals nationally recognized guidelines and regulations.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers staff physicians and regulatory agencies.
- Ability to effectively present information to staff management and physicians.
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
- Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas scientific equations graphs medical notes etc. in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse with strong experience in Operating Room PACU or PreAdmission in a endoscopic or surgical setting
- 13 years of management/leadership experience knowledge of CMS guidelines experience with policies and procedures prefer at least one year experience in ambulatory care
- Basic computer knowledge
- A current license from the State
- Current BCLS certification
