Topa is looking for motivated candidate to join our team as a Janitorial Supervisor at the Lanigan Nutrien Mine. The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of the Topa team to supervise and maintain work.
Position Title:Janitorial Supervisor
Start Date:Immediate
Closing:Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired
Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting of up to 50lbs
- Replenish bathroom supplies
- Must attend all safety meetings as scheduled
- Supervise and coordinate the staff
- Ensure proper communication with direct report
- Attend all supervisor meetings
- Keep a strong motivated team of high performing individuals
- Make sure the establishment is clean and meets all safety requirements
- Enforce safety procedures and practices
- Ensure adequate inventory levels of cleaning supplies and ensure the proper maintenance of all cleaning equipment
Safety:
Hold the following exercises:
- Safety Meetings
- Tool Box Talks
- Site inspections
- Review and sign FLRAs
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment or snow removal equipment
- Ability to work independently
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Problem solving Skills
- Ability to Multitask
- Must pass a Drug and Alcohol test
- Experience working in a similar cleaning or janitorial role is considered an asset
