Job Description

INSTRUCTIONAL SPECIAL EDUCATION ASSOCIATE

School Year


The Solon Community School District is in search of candidates for the position ofInstructional Special Education Associate. We are in need candidates for Middle School High School Intermediate School and Lakeview Elementary.

We are looking to fill multiple positions withindividuals who are passionate about students and providing service to others in the school andclassroom setting. This position supports students at all levels with disabilities as well as provideother support in the school and classroom settings.

Candidates should possess a High School Diploma and be willing and able to work in a varietyof environments in and outside of the school environment.

Training and other professionaldevelopment will be provided prior to and during the school year.

Rate of Pay: $15.77/hr Starting
$500 per month Insurance Benefit

$40000 Life Insurance Benefit
180 Day Work Calendar
5 Paid Holidays

Paid Personal and Sick Leave Available

Retirement Benefits through Iowa Public Employee Retirement System (IPERS)

**Additional opportunities are available for driving Van Routes and/or Bus Routes(training supported by the district) for additional wage increases per hour.**
