Idaho Power located in vibrant Boise Idaho is looking for a Fleet Maintenance Leader to join our fleet shops. Its an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. What does the Fleet Maintenance Leader do for us:
They provide leadership and oversight for fabrication and maintenance operations across the fleet service centers and develop and implement strategies to ensure fabrication services equipment and vehicles are managed through the lifecycle while ensuring field business needs are met. This role provides leadership and coaching to foreman technical advisors fleet technicians welders/fab technicians and machinist. They also implement fleet practices and ensure that the fleet is maintained and operated effectively and is compliant with all Federal and State Department of Transportation (DOT) ANSI and OSHA regulations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment fine motor skills including typing on the computer dialing phones filing paper and working in close proximity to other people. Position occasionally requires climbing up on or crawling under equipment. There may be occasional lifts of no more than 10 lbs. The above is a summary of the primary essential functions of the position. Job placement is contingent upon successful completion of a preemployment physical evaluation the DOT medical certificate exam. This job may require the performance of additional tasks assigned by company leaders or management.
