Midmarket Underwriter (Motor Trade)
Chelmsford
Are you an ambitious and driven trading underwriter who can demonstrate recent Motor Trade experience If you are excited about the prospect of joining a growing team for a reputable brand like Aviva and would love the chance to work alongside highly knowledgeable colleagues to provide an outstanding service to our existing customers and brokers then wed love to hear from you! As we currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Chelmsford office as a MidMarket Motor Trade Underwriter!
A bit about the job:
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our brokers and customers to gain a deeper understanding of their needs ensuring that we deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to the requirements of each customer / client. In turn youll showcase excellent organisation and time management skills including managing your own diary successfully within a fastpaced environment (this will include regular face to face broker meetings).
Skills and experience were looking for:
Previous Motor Trade underwriting experience (i.e. knowledge covering road property and liability risks)
Strong ability to analyse risks and communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a large complex organisation
Confident trading abilities with a broad panel of brokers and good knowledge of the FCA and other relevant regulation and legislation
Strong commercial business acumen to create and deliver business cases
