- Oversee the financial operations of the organization ensuring compliance with IFRS 17 and other relevant accounting standards.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage financial analysis budgeting forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Provide financial leadership and guidance to the finance team ensuring high levels of efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory reports including those related to medical aid.
- Ensure that all financial processes align with company policies and industry regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls to optimize business performance.
- Liaise with auditors and external regulators to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
- CA(SA) Chartered Accountant (South Africa).
- Minimum of 2 years postqualification experience in financial management.
- Strong expertise in IFRS 17.
- Experience in the financial services industry with a focus on medical aid will be highly advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Familiarity with financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
- Detailoriented with strong problemsolving abilities
