Hanover is looking for a dedicated Senior Consultant to join the Life Science Advocacy team with a strong background in policy communication and press relations.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Consultant your expertise in project management policy communication and press relations will be crucial in navigating our clients through the political regulatory and media landscapes. You will provide strategic advice manage client workstreams and play a proactive role in new business development.
You will offer tactical advice on political processes while drafting comprehensive briefing notes for EU political representatives. Your role will include developing and supervising stakeholder events including press management to ensure their highquality delivery. Additionally you will prepare and review submissions for consultations from EU institutions and key stakeholders maintaining detailed communications that resonate with both policymakers and the media.
Building relationships within the Brussels bubble is essential; this includes engaging with media outlets to enhance our clients visibility. Youll attend client meetings with both policymakers and media representatives to support effective communication strategies.
Incorporating your press relations skills youll contribute creatively to new business pitches by identifying opportunities that leverage media engagement. Youll also mentor junior team members in developing their communication skills as part of their professional growth.
Your responsibilities extend to promoting Hanovers values of inclusion within the team while participating actively in developing the business.
Collaboration across different markets is vital; youll establish relationships across Hanovers teams globally particularly working closely with Digital Strategy & Insights Creative teams to ensure unified project approaches that integrate effective communication strategies.
Your role involves ensuring timely delivery of client projects within budgetary constraints while maintaining high standards. A comprehensive understanding of company budget processes is necessary for managing financial systems effectively alongside accurate submission of timesheets/expenses ensuring accountability.
