Job Summary
Shambaugh & Son is looking for a Network Administrator in our Fort Wayne IN office. In this position you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining network infrastructure across multiple remote locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Configure monitor and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and Meraki networking solutions across multiple remote sites
- Implement and manage security policies configurations and firewall rules to ensure data protection and compliance
- Provide technical support for networkrelated issues diagnosing and resolving connectivity problems efficiently
- Monitor network performance analyze traffic patterns and optimize configurations for reliability and speed
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Document playbooks
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3 years of network administration experience preferably in a multisite environment
- Related college degree
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama for centralized management
- Expertise in Meraki wireless access points
- Knowledge of:
- vCenter
- Windows Server
- Fedora Server
- Rocky Linux
- PowerShell
- HPE Comware switches
- HPE ProCurve
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- Phone Systems
- Good understanding of common network services and protocols
- Strong team player and able to communicate with coworkers regularly
- Excellent organizational written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems
- Knowledge of network cabling and standards
- Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Regular and reliable attendance including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
