The Website Content and Design Specialist will help manage and maintain the BioIVT website to ensure it delivers an engaging userfriendly and visually appealing experience that aligns with BioIVTs brand and strategic objectives. This role involves close collaboration with crossfunctional teams to create dynamic accessible and effective web pages. The specialist will also utilize analytics to monitor site performance optimize the user experience and implement SEO strategies to boost visibility and engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Website Management: Oversee daily content updates visual enhancements and technical maintenance of ensuring all web pages are accurate optimized and compliant with accessibility standards.
- Web Design & User Experience (UX): Design intuitive visually appealing and userfriendly web pages applying best practices in web design and UX to create an engaging online experience.
- Content Development & Management: Develop edit and manage web content using BioIVTs content management system (CMS) aligning with digital marketing and SEO strategies. Coordinate with internal teams to gather content requirements and meet project deadlines.
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track and analyze website performance metrics (e.g. traffic patterns user behavior bounce rate) using tools like Google Analytics. Provide actionable insights to enhance site effectiveness and user engagement.
- SEO Optimization: Implement and maintain SEO strategies including keyword research onpage optimization and meta tag updates. Conduct regular audits to ensure best practices are followed.
- Visual Content Creation: In partnership with BioIVT Creative design and develop webbased graphic elements (banners infographics icons etc. to support and enhance website content.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing product teams and subject matter experts to gather requirements and execute highquality web projects that align with organizational goals.
- Web Accessibility Compliance: Ensure all web content adheres to WCAG and Section 508 accessibility standards providing an inclusive experience for all users.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Conduct A/B testing and leverage optimization tools to experiment with website elements improving user engagement and conversion rates.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Web Design Digital Media Computer Science Marketing Communications or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years 35 years preferred) of experience in website content management web design or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in life sciences a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) platforms (preferably in Contentful or similar.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush and familiarity with HTML CSS and basic JavaScript.
- Ability to apply advanced SEO strategies and work with additional web development tools or frameworks.
