The Omni Charlottesville Hotel offers 208 beautifully appointed guestrooms and suites featuring panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains along with a full service restaurant and 12000 square feet of meeting space. The Omni is located in the heart of downtown at the base of the downtown pedestrian mall. Our location offers a wide variety of local restaurants pubs entertainment venues or even just to take a scenic walk and enjoy the culture of Charlottesville. There are numerous local historic sites that have played a unique role in American history which include: Monticello the University of Virginia Ash LawnHighland Historic Court Square and Michie Tavern. Our Blue Ridge Parkway offers unmatched views and our very own downtown mall features daily entertainment at the four theaters which offer live music movies and theatrical performances.

Job Description
Omni Charlottesville Hotel is seeking a Food Runner/Busser to join The Conservatory team at our brandnew upscale restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of fine dining/ upscale service/ serving specifics
- Must have knowledge of all food menus offerings.
- Must have strong communications skills.
- Station setup.
- Stock needed supplies in side stations.
- Get ice supply for side stations.
- Dust all tables to include table legs.
- Pickup linen from laundry.
- Check off and pickup storeroom supplies.
- Set tables with clean pressed linen china silver and glassware.
- Ensure furniture and floors are clean and arranged according to specifications.
- Remove any extra settings.
- Reachin cooler is clean and organized..
- Bring food from the kitchen to tables to support the servers.
- Assist servers during meal period.
- Provide water service to our guests.
- Assist the server with pre busing of plates.
- Assisting servers in any capacity to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisor or management.
Qualifications
- Must enjoy guest interaction.
- Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
- Must be able to move lift carry push pull and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays.
- Must have ServSafe Food Handlers and TIPS Alcohol Certification or be able to attain certfification.
