Job Description

Rabobanks Strategy & Transformation Office (STO) division is comprised of a Program Office Change Delivery Organisational Change Business Process Management & Strategy. This division plays a crucial role in ensuring the success & integrity of projects & programs within the organisation.

Strategy & Transformations Change Delivery team has an opening for a Senior Business Analyst due to an internal movement. Reporting to the Domain Lead Business Analyst this role will define & support implementation & operationalisation of project deliverables. In this role you will collaborate closely with project team & other consulted & impacted stakeholders. The Business Analyst will apply insight analysis logic & attention to detail to identify communicate & validate project requirements.

This role can be based in either Sydney Australia or Hamilton New Zealand.

Top Role Accountabilities:

  • Working with the Domain Lead Business Analyst /or Project manager to define & manage key deliverables
  • Identifying required stakeholders for input & validation
  • Stakeholder engagement including preparing / running workshops & developing models to adequately capture & communicate outcomes
  • Preparing & facilitating working groups to understand current state & crossfunctional requirements
  • Contributing to the development & documentation of project scope objectives & outcomes under direction of the project manager
  • Undertaking project discovery including regulatory analysis business needs analysis systems analysis gap analysis
  • Developing Current State (asis) & Future State (tobe) Process Maps & assess impacts gaps & opportunities
  • Creating unambiguous Business Requirements (BRD) to communicate necessary change to policy process procedures organisation & technology
  • Identifying analysing & communicating options & recommendations to achieve business objectives & outcomes
  • Developing user stories & functional requirements / specifications for digital solutions & automation
  • Document endtoend traceability & assurance reports
  • Review & update controls where required
  • Facilitating the creation of new or updated processes policies & supporting their implementation
  • Undertaking quality assurance of new solutions including policies processes & procedures & supporting testing of technology solutions through UAT & BAT
  • Reporting progress on deliverables to the Project Manager

To be successful you will have:

  • 5 years business analysis experience within banking / finance
  • Highly developed analytical & information management skills
  • Experience in working on multiple projects either autonomously or within a program level project
  • Experience in automation projects & understanding of technology landscape
  • Experience in delivery of both technical & nontechnical projects
  • Strong understanding of digital (IT) enablement and automation solutions including process modelling & the ability to define requirements in this context
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills an ability to identify an audiences needs & clearly present concepts to technical & nontechnical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Strong interpersonal collaborative & relationship management skills; an ability to interact at multiple levels
  • Strong problemsolving abilities
  • Proven experience in requirements elicitation documentation & traceability using a variety of tools
  • Requirements prioritisation
  • An ability to identify & document acceptance criteria
  • An ability to model data & processes
  • Competent in the use of MS Office tools & Visio (preferably also Jira & Confluence)
  • Experience in the application of business processes & improvement methodologies
