Location & InOffice Expectation: This position will take part in Elevance Healths hybrid workforce strategy which includes virtual work and 12 days physically in the office per week. Associates are required to live within a 50mile radius and a 1hour commute to one of our Elevance Health major office (PulsePoint) locations.

Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration community and connection.

Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Program Manager Child Welfare is responsible for the development and ongoing management of one or more Medicaid programs supporting children who are in child welfare. Including participation in Request for Proposals implementations and ongoing health plan managers typically support business strategies through an integrated portfolio of external clientfacing projects or initiatives. A program manager may have responsibility for a piece of a larger enterprise/regional external clientfacing program.

Specifically this Program Manager will support the program development and implementation of Child Welfare programs across Elevance Health markets. They will provide expertise on the team to support Foster Care program training and implementation in GA VA NC IA and KS.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Manages and coordinates the development approval implementation and compliance of ongoing external clientfacing programs. These may include child welfare agencies Medicaid agencies and community partners to build services and supports for youth in child welfare.

  • Develops program budget.

  • Ensures the program meets its stated objectives.

  • Provides subject matter expertise in response to daytoday external clientfacing business issues.

  • Research applicable subject matter practices and remains aware of industry trends.

  • Manages external clientfacing relationships and partners with corporate and regional business areas.

  • Coordinates child welfare specific training related to external clientfacing program.

  • Develops program success measures and performs periodic assessments of program success.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years external clientfacing experience in program/project management; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Graduate degree preferred.

  • Project management certification preferred.

  • Experience with child welfare such as state agency community stakeholders and advocacy workstrongly preferred.

  • Experience working with specialty providers within valuebased care and innovative care delivery methodsis strongly preferred.

  • Experience in outcomes tracking for community implementationsstrongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s) the salary* range for this specific position is $85424 to $161856 annually.

Locations: California; Colorado; Illinois; Minnesota; and Washington State.
