Job Description
ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster cheaper more energyefficient microchips. The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team that you will lead responsible for the introduction industrialization and phaseout strategies of new products as well as engineering sustaining activities on existing products. In this role youll make a real difference to the efficiency and profitability of the company by determining and managing the supply chain project plan of platforms new products associated introduction types (new builds installs and upgrades) industrialization and phaseout strategies. To achieve this you will be using a mix of technical creative and interpersonal skills to guide coordinate and mentor your team to meet program deliverables and deadlines. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven the Netherlands and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices inChandler Arizona San Jose and San Diego California Wilton Connecticut and Hillsboro Oregon.
Job Responsibilities
Manage concurrent supply chain introduction of new product designs in the global supply chain from technical feasibility towards ramp and releaseforvolume including the critical path of Bill of Material readiness technical documentation readiness and material availability towards prototype pilot and volume systems and spares
Plan & mobilize global (US and Taiwan) resources of the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P) supplier collaboration teams to fulfill the plans
Manage worldwide material availability balanced against customer service levels inventory quality costs and risks: Identify bottle necks prepare decisions and take actions towards engineering suppliers factories field to manage the critical path both for timetomarket and ramp
Strong development and leadership skills required to build and manage a growing staff of both medior and entry level positions and ensure succession plans can be developed and fulfilled with a mix of internal and external candidates
Drive and secure accountability and ownership of the introduction of NPI materials at by PLM in designated crosssectoral Project teams focused on quality and timing of deliverables
Secure timing costs and quality of delivery of Engineering Changes to and by suppliers and optimize the complete EC portfolio together with suppliers
Proactively resource planning and staffing of the PLM project coordinators to ensure the optimal use of capacity and capabilities.
Education Level
MSc in Industrial Engineering Supply Chain Operations
Relevant experience
10 years of work experience of which 5 years of experience in new product introductions preferably in hightech lowvolume environments. At least 3 years of management experience required

Context of the position
The mission of The SS&P Product Lifecycle Management team is to drive ASML product roadmaps into lean supply chain solutions. As such PLM is responsible for securing material availability for ASMLs new systems during proto phase early shipping and initial ramp up. This involves the planning and release of materials throughout the logistics chain from system development through suppliers and manufacturing to customers. In a fastpaced industry PLM is involved in system development from day one defining logistics requirements and identifying potential risks in suppliers design and production processes. In the spirit of concurrent engineering this happens while the system is still being developed so specifications are constantly subject to change. Hence PLM drives timely delivery of Bill of Materials and technical documentation during development and ensures supply chain and infield infrastructures can handle the new products.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
Pay scales are determined by role level location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to jobrelated skills relevant education and experience certifications abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
