The role encompasses strategic quality management and process optimization responsibilities focusing on utilizing value stream mapping and runatrate studies to enhance automation system performance. The position requires active participation in Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis while conducting experimental studies during development phases. Key responsibilities include collaborating with crossfunctional teams on root cause analysis contributing to cost assessment initiatives and establishing a comprehensive Quality Management System to ensure standardization across technological platforms. The ideal candidate will serve as a quality advocate while driving continuous improvement through datadriven methodologies.
Key job responsibilities
1. Conduct value stream mapping to identify and address bottlenecks enhancing overall process efficiency and throughput.
2. Execute runatrate studies on automated systems to evaluate and validate machine performance metrics.
3. Serve as the quality advocate during Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) sessions.
4. Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) on automation systems during the development phase to optimize performance.
5. Contribute to total cost of ownership assessments to inform and prioritize continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for technical issues.
7. Develop and implement a Quality Management System (QMS) to promote standardization across various technologies.
Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent field.
Experience of working in Quality Engineering for industries like Tech Medical Automotive or Aerospace.
Ability to work and collaborate with cross functional teams.
Hands on working experience with automation systems or other complex technology products.
Experience in doing statistical data analysis writing reports and presenting to senior leadership.
Strong understanding of Quality methodology.
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
Certified Quality Engineer.
Experience of working on electromechanical products.
Experience in Minitab
Project Management skills
