Job Description
As an Amazon Senior Software Development Engineer you will solve unique and complex problems at a rapid pace utilizing the latest technologies to create solutions that are highly scalable. Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Software Development Engineer youll be in charge of designing developing testing and deploying distributed machine learning systems and largescale solutions for our global customer base. In this role youll work closely with the product team to define the teams roadmap. Youll also lead the system architecture design introduce best practices that ensure a highquality product and mentor and develop other engineers. A successful candidate will have a solid background in engineering largescale software systems strong technical skills excellent communication abilities and a drive to deliver results in a fastpaced environment
7 years of noninternship professional software development experience
7 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
5 years of highly scalable systems experience
10 years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java C or C# including objectoriented design experience
Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
7 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience leading and influencing your team or organization
