Simple Technology Solutions is looking for an Senior Business Analyst/Tester to add to our team.
Quick Position Overview:
- US Citizenship is required
- Bachelors Degree is required

- This position is contingent upon contract award.
The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Tester to support a highimpact federal program. This role requires a blend of business analysis and test automation expertise in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather and define requirements write and execute automated test scripts and ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle. This position is contingent upon contract award.
The Senior Business Analyst/Tester at STS will:
- Gather analyze and document business and functional requirements while defining user stories acceptance criteria and functional specifications. Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
- Develop execute and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing ensuring test automation frameworks are optimized for efficiency and scalability. Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline and proactively identify track and report defects to drive timely resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning standups and retrospectives. Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to enhance test automation strategies while supporting process improvements and best practices in testing and software quality.
Education and Experience:
Required
- Bachelors Degree
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst and Test Automation Engineer in government environment.
- Handson experience writing and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium Cypress or Playwright.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proficiency with JIRA Azure DevOps or similar test management tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Must be able to work the hours of 8am5pm Eastern Time regardless of your home location
