Heres what you will do:
Business Development & Lead Generation Identify and engage with developers builders architects and other industry professionals to promote renewable and lowcarbon energy solutions.
Sales Strategy Implement and refine sales strategies to drive growth within lowrise new construction sector.
Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their energy needs and position the companys solutions effectively.
Proposal Development & Negotiation Prepare and present compelling proposals manage contract negotiations and secure project commitments.
Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence Monitor industry trends competitor activities and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Collaboration with Internal Teams Work closely with engineering product development and operations teams to ensure seamless project .
Sales Forecasting & Reporting Track sales performance pipeline activity and key metrics to support business planning and decisionmaking.
Event Participation & Networking Represent the company at trade shows conferences and industry events to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
Responsible for assigned sales targets supporting the teams overall objectives.
Who you are:
A bachelors degree (preferably in Business Marketing or Engineering) and 6 years of directly related experience in B2B Sales business develop and marketing strategy.
Strong understanding of the new construction markets.
Experience selling low carbon renewable and HVAC systems.
Customer and result focused.
Strong ability to be Innovative strategic and initiate change.
Work Independently highly organized and ability to lead multiple priorities.
Negotiation experience with external parties.
Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong team skills for working with various functional areas external vendors and various support areas.
Preferred:
Masters in business administration
Membership in Professional Engineers of Ontario or similar professional organization.
Working Conditions:
Travelling including overnight mainly within Ontario is required. A valid Ontario G class drivers license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required.
Regular visits to customer facilities and job sites to assess energy efficiency opportunities on weekly basis.
