JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing is looking for a Parttime Research Assistant (RA) for a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Study on Delirium in Hospitalized Older Adults.
We are hiring parttime research assistants (RAs) for a research project titled READISETGO: Researching Efficient Approaches to Delirium IdentificationSustaining Effective Translation to Create Gerofriendly implementation study is investigating use of a twice daily nurseled 2step delirium identification screening. The project is being implemented in three communities in PA and MA but the funding is based at University Park PA with the need for some RAs to travel to Hershey for data collection or be located in Hershey. We are hiring staff for inperson data collection at Mount Nittany Medical Center and Hershey Medical Center/Penn State Health in PA; most training and meetings will be 1020 hours per week.
Assist with in person recruiting consenting and screening research participants clinical research procedures and medical record reviews.
Conduct interrater reliability checks.
Assist with data entry data management and maintaining data protection & quality.
May assist with literature search and other research work assigned.
Attend and contribute to scheduled team meetings.
Assist with marketing and communication where needed.
Other duties as needed to carry out study procedures.
