The Director HR Business Partner (HRBP) supports the development and of the overall HR strategy that aligns to business unit goals and initiatives. The Director HR Business Partner builds relationships and collaborates at the highest levels of their business units. The Director HRBP serves as a trusted strategic partner consultant and coach to business unit executives and nextlevel leaders supporting both the needs of the business and employees. The Director HRBP is their business units primary HR leader supporting and executing strategies around organizational development performance management coaching organizational design staffing and change management. The HRBP is a subject matter expert and is knowledgeable of emerging trends and industry practices in their field.
The Director HRBP possesses the business acumen necessary to understand business unit goals and partners to develop a human capital strategy specific to respective business units based on data driven insights and recommendations.
The Director HRBP works closely with key HR COE partners to achieve goals; is a champion of our OPGM culture and continuous improvement to the employee experience; and promotes a positive inclusive and highperformance culture.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnership 45
Develop proactive business partner relationships with Enterprise Unit Leadership team members.
Actively participate as part of the Enterprise Unit Leadership Team.
Act as a strategic partner to enterprise unit leadership providing consultation counsel and insight to executives and people leaders on people management organizational development team effectiveness and employee engagement.
Collaborate and consult with internal HR COE teams to deliver general and customized solutions to the business.
Proactively partner with corporate FP&A to ensure financial alignment to business unit needs as they relate to recruitment promotions and the annual compensation cycle.
Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights into workforce trends employee engagement and the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
Develop and present regular reports to senior management on key HR metrics including turnover rates employee satisfaction and the impact of HR programs.
Talent Management 25
Create strategic talent plans by engaging senior leadership to understand the business strategies and assess Enterprise unit needs.
Provide oversight on the and delivery of the talent plans by engaging functional HR Resources Centers of Excellence (COE).
Focus on enhancing the quality of leaders and people managers building skills and capabilities of the teams and ensuring succession bench strength.
Facilitates ongoing communications with HR teams and stakeholders.
Change Management and Organizational Design 20
Consult and partner with business unit leadership to develop execute and support change and transformation strategies within supported business units including restructurings reorganizations realignments and M&A integrations
Compensation 5
Consult and partner job descriptions and market data reviews.
Advise people leaders on internal equity and market analysis to help with compensation related decisions.
Employee Relations and Compliance 5
Partner with Employee Relations COE to ensure employee relations issues are appropriately addressed and leaders receive coaching development to more effectively manage and resolve employee performance and employeerelated issues.
Required Qualifications
Work Experience:
Years of Applicable Experience 7 or more yearsEducation:
