The Role
Were looking for enthusiastic Cloud Engineers who are passionate inquisitive and responsible individuals to help us on our mission to deliver unified experiences to our customers. You will be working as a Developer building tools to support cloud enablement; with a focus on achieving repeatable processes that deploy solutions of high value. As a Cloud Engineer at Fidelity
- You will help us build the solutions to support and scale our capabilities.
- You will be responsible to craft secure scalable resilient cloudbased services.
- Youll have the opportunity to contribute ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills learn new technologies and languages and continue to learn.

- Experienced with the tools of the trade including a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Works to stay up to date on Algorithms Data Structures and Design Patterns and loves the challenge of building highly scalable systems that can support thousands of transactions/sec.
- Have an approach of test first development and are experienced in modern test frameworks. We believe that quality is everyones job.
- Are datadriven and can measure collect and use data to make decisions. We understand the value of intuition and the need to balance decisions accordingly.
- Have great communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in meaningful discussions.
- Work closely with business units in reengineering and automation efforts that result in impactful and significant straight thru processing while developing bestinclass digital experiences for our customers and associates
The Skills You Bring
- Handson experience with Software/Cloud Development and Engineering.
- Application development on Public Cloud e.g. AWS (Serverless (Lambda) EKS Step Functions Lambda S3 Dynamo).
- Skilled in Java Spark Python Docker Kubernetes infrastructure as code
- Proven experience working in a Cloud environment using AWS Azure Google etc.
- Experience with AWS services in particular CloudWatch IAM Networking and CloudFormation Lambda
- Proven experience with DevOps CI/CD using tools like Jenkins uDeploy Terraform Cloud Formation etc.
- Proven ability with modern ObjectOriented Programming Languages (Python Scala Java)
- Strong working knowledge of cloud native data warehousing and data lake solutions using Snowflake Redshift etc.
- Database experience in DynamoDB PostgreSQL Oracle DB.
- Intellectually curious and love learning new skills and technologies e.g. Cloud services and programming languages
- Certification in public Cloud (AWS) and Kubernetes is a plus.
