The FlashArray team builds the industrys most innovative highperformance and highly available portfolio of products that are designed for the most demanding mission critical applications. While we deliver a hardware storage array over 90 of our engineering staff are software engineers. Our customers are the most important part of our business and they love FlashArray for its simplicity of management the constant flow of new and exciting upgrades and ability to live on the cutting edge of technology while never taking downtime ever. Most recently we extended the value of our FlashArray capabilities into the cloud with CloudSnap and Cloud Block Store for AWS. These new innovations enable our customers to leverage the agility of the public cloud for both traditional IT and cloudnative applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop automated test framework for softwarebased allflash storage arrays
- Lead/participate in the design and development of infrastructure tools & automation for our automated testing environments
- Build debug tools and analyze test failures across a multimachine hardware/software stack within a continuous integration automation framework
- Measure and seek improvements in the testing pipeline.
- Modernize the code base to a microservices and cloud friendly architecture.
WHAT YOULL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- A strong focus on developing usable extensible and maintainable software
- Demonstrated Unix/Linux automation experience
- Agile Test frameworks Continuous Integration experience
- Ability to work independently in crossfunctional teams
- Must be willing and able to work in an open office team environment
- Algorithms & Data Structure Go/Python language familiarity Operating Systems understanding of Linux environments Cloud technologies
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- 5 years of hands on test automation or infrastructure development experience with ability and desire to learn new technology
- Proven analytical and creative problemsolving abilities.
- Knowledge of buildtest pipeline endtoend quality best practices Test Driven Development Data Driven Engineering etc
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid communication skills
- We are primarily an inoffice environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara CA office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.
The annual base salary range is: $175000 $263000.
Salary ranges are determined based on role level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
