Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate adaptable and selfmotivated veterinarians to join our team. Our ideal candidates will have the ability to connect with pet owners easily and will enjoy the independence of working outside a traditional office setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inhome euthanasia procedures to ensure a dignified and peaceful passing for pets.
- Provide telehospice consultations to pet parents making endoflife decisions.
- Offer pet loss support services to assist families in coping with grief and loss.
- Develop personalized care plans that consider the unique needs of each pet and family.
- Educate pet owners on the euthanasia process and the veterinary options available to them.
- Collaborate with veterinary care coordinators to enhance the overall patient care experience.
- Stay updated on developments in veterinary medicine related to pain management and hospice care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation of each consultation and treatment.
Essential Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- State veterinary license in good standing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience; maximum of 10 years of experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to work independently while providing compassionate care in a home environment.
Desired Experience
- Experience in hospice and endoflife care for pets is a significant plus.
- Comfortable with making critical decisions in highstress situations.
- Previous experience in providing customer service or client support.
