Role Overview
We are seeking a Head of Operations & Business Development to lead the daytoday banking operations and drive business growth. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient banking processes customer acquisition strategic partnerships and regulatory compliance all while aligning with our mission to fuel ambition connect communities and create lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Compliance
Oversee daily banking operations ensuring efficiency and seamless transactions.
Implement process automation and operational best practices.
Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management in line with CBN guidelines.
Business Development & Growth
Develop and execute strategies to expand the Bank s market reach.
Build partnerships with businesses fintechs and key stakeholders.
Identify new revenue streams and drive customer acquisition.
Customer Experience & Digital Innovation
Enhance digital banking platforms to improve accessibility and user experience.
Streamline customer onboarding engagement and retention.
Work with tech teams to introduce innovative financial solutions.
Team Leadership & Performance
Lead and develop highperforming teams in operations and business development.
Set KPIs monitor performance and drive results.
Foster a culture of bold action and meaningful impact.
Key Requirements
Experience: 8 years in banking fintech or financial services with 4 years in leadership roles.
Industry Knowledge: Strong grasp of microfinance banking digital banking and Nigerian financial regulations.
Business Acumen: Proven ability to drive growth forge partnerships and acquire customers.
Operations Expertise: Experience in process automation compliance and risk management.
Leadership & Innovation: Skilled in scaling teams executing strategy and driving digital transformation.
Collaboration & Influence: Strong relationshipbuilding skills ability to align diverse stakeholders resolve conflicts and foster teamwork.
& Work Ethic: High energy disciplined resultsdriven and willing to do what it takes to succeed.
Sales & Growth: Track record of success in new business sales upselling and expanding customer relationships.
