Job Description
City: Glendale CA 91201
Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Hybrid 4 days a week onsite)
Duration: 12 months
Rate Range: Up to $103/hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or subcontract)
Work Authorization: GC USC All valid EADs except H1b
The Imagineering Systems Reliability Engineering (SRE) team helps bring worldclass experiences to life by building the software platforms that power our parks and resorts. We blend creativity and technology to ensure systems are resilient scalable and reliable.
As a Senior Systems Engineer you will architect build and support infrastructure that delivers performance security and operational excellence. You ll collaborate with developers product owners and operations teams to automate deployments monitor platforms and troubleshoot critical issues.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fastpaced collaborative environments and has a passion for automation cloud infrastructure and delivering highquality systems.
MustHave Qualifications
- Linux Systems Administration Expertise
Deep knowledge of Linux OS setup configuration performance tuning and troubleshooting. (Windows knowledge is a plus but not required. - Programming & Automation Skills
Proficient in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python Go Bash or Ruby. - Public Cloud Experience
Handson experience with AWS GCP or Azure including cloudnative tools and services. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Skilled in tools like Terraform Ansible CloudFormation or similar. - CI/CD & Source Control
Experience building or maintaining pipelines with Jenkins GitLabCI or GitHub Actions and proficiency with Git. - Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Strong ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues implement monitoring and improve reliability. - Containers & Modern Infrastructure
Familiar with Docker Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable secure infrastructure for Imagineering platforms
- Automate system provisioning monitoring and deployment workflows
- Maintain application uptime performance and security across environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with engineers architects and product teams
- Document architectures processes and runbooks
Build: Implementing integrating and configuring solutions tools infrastructure and systems. 30
Preferred Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in systems engineering or SRE roles
- Experience with backend service development or tooling
- Familiarity with load balancers web servers and databases (e.g. NGINX Apache MySQL PostgreSQL)
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent handson experience.
