Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Laundry Assistant for a luxury boutique hotel located in Franschhoek. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards in a fastpaced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all hotel laundry is cleaned ironed folded and stored according to hotel standards
Handle guest laundry efficiently and return it promptly in excellent condition
Operate washing machines dryers irons and other laundry equipment correctly and safely
Sort and inspect laundry items before and after washing to ensure quality control
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laundry room
Report any equipment faults or maintenance issues to the relevant department
Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure linen and uniform availability
Requirements
Prior experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
Reliable punctual and wellorganized
Able to handle physical tasks and stand for long periods
Team player with a positive attitude
Reside in or be able to travel to Franschhoek daily
