Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Spa Therapist / Receptionist for a luxurious safari lodge based in the Eastern Cape. This dualrole position is perfect for a wellrounded individual with a passion for wellness and guest service. The successful candidate will provide professional spa treatments while also assisting with frontofhouse reception duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Spa Therapist Duties:
Deliver a range of professional spa treatments including massages facials manicures and pedicures
Maintain high standards of hygiene cleanliness and ambiance in the spa area
Recommend suitable treatments and retail products based on guest needs
Ensure spa equipment is sanitized stocked and maintained according to standards
Upsell spa services and manage guest treatment schedules efficiently
Receptionist Duties:
Greet and welcome guests in a warm professional manner
Manage checkins and checkouts ensuring a smooth guest experience
Handle telephone and email inquiries bookings and general guest correspondence
Assist with guest orientation and lodge information
Process payments and maintain accurate guest records
Requirements:
Recognized spa/beauty therapy qualification (ITEC CIDESCO or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a spa and/or frontofhouse role
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong administrative and computer literacy (MS Office email reservations systems)
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Willingness to live onsite and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
