Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Group HR Manager for a prestigious luxury safari lodge group based in Johannesburg. This is a pivotal role for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in the hospitality or lodge industry looking to lead and support an extensive workforce across multiple properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all HR matters for the entire group of lodges
Run and manage payroll efficiently and accurately
Handle all labour law issues including CCMA cases
Lead and support the HR team and lodge managers with people management strategies
Ensure compliance with relevant labour legislation and company policies
Report directly to the CFO and Group Operations Manager
Provide HR leadership and guidance to over 170 staff members
Support recruitment onboarding training and performance management
Implement and maintain HR systems and best practices across the group
Requirements:
Minimum 35 years of experience in a similar HR leadership role
Hospitality/lodge industry background is essential
Strong knowledge of South African labour law and CCMA processes
Proven ability to manage large teams across multiple locations
Experience with payroll systems and HR software
Strong interpersonal communication and conflictresolution skills
High level of discretion integrity and professionalism
