Position: MRI Technologist
FLSA Status: Non Exempt
Schedule: Sat Sun Mon 6:30A 7:00PM or Thurs Fri Sat 7:00p7:30a
Job Summary
We are actively seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with strong hospitalbased experience for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have 1 2 years of handson MRI experience in a hospital setting with a strong preference for candidates skilled in scanning patients with implanted devices. This role requires proficiency with Philips Achieva scanners and prior travel tech experience.
Job Functions
- Perform highquality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Operate MRI equipment specifically the Philips Achieva and Siemens 1.5T Sola systems.
- Independently scan patients with implanted devices adhering to all safety and MRI screening protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate records in Cerner Unity PACS and Interview PACS systems.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to optimize imaging outcomes.
- Support workflow in a fastpaced hospitalbased environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Acceptable Training and Experience:
- Minimum 1 2 years of MRI technologist experience in a hospital setting
- Demonstrated experience with Philips Achieva MRI scanner (required)
- Previous experience scanning patients with implanted medical devices
- Minimum 1 year of travel MRI technologist experience (required)
- ARRT (MR) certification
- BLS certification (current)
- Proficiency with Cerner Unity PACS and Interview PACS
- Strong understanding of crosssectional anatomy and MRI physics
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and protocols
- Microsoft Office suite
- Basic computer hardware & network troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- Ability to multitask between projects
