Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are hiring CNSPalliativeCare for our Leading Hospital in DublinIreland.
Responsibilities
- Assist in educating patients and their caregivers about their illness available treatments and resources.
- Determine each patients and caregivers unique educational needs then assist in addressing them.
- Provide specialized palliative care to those referred to the service who are determined to need this degree of care by acting as an advisor and a supplementary member of the primary care team.
- Assist individuals who require palliative care by controlling their pain and symptoms and offering guidance and support.
- Determine the specific care needs of recommended patients by doing an initial assessment.
- To ascertain the patients needs communicate with all other pertinent medical specialists involved in their treatment.
Requirements
- Higher Degree in Palliative Care for Registered General Nurses
- Have a minimum of three to five years of relevant experience
- Possess prior experience working in a multidisciplinary setting; IT proficiency is preferred.
