Job Description

This role can be based in our San Francisco or Mountain View office.
Our Ecosystem Strategic Finance team is searching for a strategic and resultsdriven Manager of Strategic Finance for the Knowledge Marketplace and Flagship person will partner closely with senior leaders within the Knowledge Marketplace across to drive strategic initiatives that shape the future growth of LinkedIn for our billionmember ecosystem. A strong candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of strategic insight analytical rigor synthesized communication; and have experience with executive partnership leading transformational initiatives and team leadership that empowers and develops our talented employees.
The role is highly crossfunctional blending strategy & creating clarity and speed to of needlemoving corporate priorities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving highly complex ambiguous operational and strategic questions within LinkedIns R&D team and has exceptional business acumen and the skills to operate autonomously to identify prioritize partner influence and implement highimpact change.
Responsibilities:
- Lead analytical efforts in an unstructured environment to identify product insights and improve decisionmaking across various stakeholders including growth engagement site usage and product economics. Develop and deliver on strategic initiatives for our leadership team.
- Independently create manage and update forecasting models for products initiatives and the broader LinkedIn ecosystem in close collaboration with Product teams.
- Ensures pressure testing of growth opportunities and ensures the consideration of tradeoffs and implications across functions/lines of business/organizations.
- Identifies new opportunities for growth makes novel strategic recommendations and drives strategy development for a function/line of business/ teams to break organizational assumptions and challenge status quo.
- Serve as the connective tissue of a crossfunctional team (including Sales Product Management Marketing Sales Operations Finance Business Development Corporate Development and other internal groups etc. working to share knowledge and drive people towards a common goal.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business Business Analytics Finance or related field AND minimum 5 years of experience in finance finance accounting management consulting investment banking or related field OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of people management experience.
- 3 years of experience in the technology industry.
- Technically proficient (or interest in learning) SQL experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple actionable recommendations

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $123000 to $199000.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
